| Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15a | A new Executive Director started with AAPS in January 2015. An independent firm was engaged to identify potential candidates, manage the selection process, and to determine the appropriate salary range given the responsibilities of the position. The AAPS Board selected the outside firm, oversaw the selection process from start to finish, and reviewed the compensation recommendations for the final candidate. The Executive Director's compensation is reviewed and benchmarked by the Board on a bi-annual basis against data provided by an independent party. The next scheduled review will be 2017. |
