| Desc | Immigrant Service Division - USCRI's Immigrant Services Division is composed of four programs-the Immigrant Children's Legal Program (ICLP), the Child Advocate Program, Post-Release Services (PRS), and USCRI El Salvador. ICLP works with dozens of attorneys from law firms, corporations, and non-profit organizations throughout the U.S., to provide legal counsel to unaccompanied immigrant children. In addition to mentoring and providing technical assistance to individual pro bono attorneys, ICLP conducts trainings and maintains updated materials on immigration law at USCRI's resource library. The Child Advocate Program ensures the safety and well-being of particularly vulnerable unaccompanied immigrant children. Child Advocates may accompany their clients to court to provide moral support and present information relevant to the child's best interest. PRS serves unaccompanied immigrant children nationally in collaboration with ten partners around the country, providing skilled linkages to education and legal, health, and mental health services for these children. PRS case managers monitor the child's safety and well-being and can also provide support to sponsors while the children adjust to their new home and community. USCRI El Salvador is USCRI's regional office located in San Salvador. Through this office, USCRI works to ensure safe reintegration of minors into their communities and coordinates comprehensive case management for the children regarding U.S. immigration and refugee law. | Desc |
