Mission Description	THE FREEDOM CENTER'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE THE FINEST PREVENTION AND TREATMENT SERVICES AVAILABLE IN KNOX COUNTY FOR PROBLEMS RELATED TO ALCOHOL, TOBACCO AND OTHER DRUGS. OUR CONTINUUM OF CARE STRIVES TO PROVIDE UNBIASED INFORMATION, ENCOURAGE LOW-RISK CHOICES AND TO REDUCE THE STIGMA OF ADDICTION. OUR SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES SEEK TO OVERCOME DENIAL, TO DIMINISH PROBLEMS CAUSED BY SUBSTANCE ABUSE IN A MEASURABLE WAY AND TO MOTIVATE CLIENTS TO BE PERSONALLY ACCOUNTABLE IN THEIR OWN RECOVERY.
