GIRL SCOUTS OF WISCONSIN - BADGERLAND COUNCIL ANNUALLY SERVES MORE THAN 11,000 GIRLS IN GRADES K-12 AND 4,000 ADULT MEMBERS IN TWENTY-THREE SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN COUNTIES. THE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS A GIRL-DRIVEN, COOPERATIVE LEARNING PROGRAM CARRIED OUT IN SMALL GROUPS WITH ADULT LEADERSHIP AND MENTORING. A WIDE RANGE OF EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES ARE DEVELOPED AROUND THE NEEDS AND INTERESTS OF GIRLS. GIRL SCOUTS OF WISCONSIN - BADGERLAND COUNCIL PROVIDES A WELL-ROUNDED GENERAL PROGRAM FOCUSED IN THEMATIC AREAS SUCH AS STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATHEMATICS), LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, HEALTHY LIVING, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. SITE-BASED PROGRAMS PROVIDE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCES TO ALL POPULATIONS, FOR WHICH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE SO THAT ALL GIRLS MAY FULLY PARTICIPATE. THE GIRL SCOUT COOKIE PROGRAM PROVIDES GIRLS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO FINANCIALLY FUND THEIR OWN EXPERIENCES WITHIN THE GIRL SCOUT ORGANIZATION, AS WELL AS INCREASE SELF CONFIDENCE AND FINANCIAL LITERACY.
