| Desc | PHYSICAL/EVERY DAY NEED SUPPORT - We send clothing and related needs on a weekly basis throughout the Balkans, via ship and air. These items are sent or taken to specific places and/or specific people for their needs and for distribution to others. For example, a box may be shipped to a hospital for distribution among children and/or needy adults. The greatest distribution is among refugees from different countries, including nations from the former Soviet Union and the Province of Kosovo. Thousands of pounds of clothing have been distributed among the people of the Balkans, including refugee Armenians, Kurds, Romanian, Turks, Russians and Ukrainians. In addition to clothing, funds are supplied especially among refugees and the elderly for their rent and heating fuel in the winter.We also provide nurturing and care for special need children who are not accepted in society. | Desc |
