These additional transmitters extend the reach of WHYYs programming signal across the state to the ocean and south to Cape May. WHYY began production of a documentary about the life of Dr. Albert Barnes and the move of his art collection to a new home in Philadelphia. Y Stream, a radio streaming service that provides programming without membership breaks was implemented for members at certain donation levels. WHYY was the second public media outlet in the country to offer this type of alternative service. |
