FINAL DISPOSITION OF THE AUDIT OF THE METALS SERVICE CENTER INSTITUTE IS UNDERTERMINED AND THERE HAS BEEN NO PROPOSED ADJUSTEMNT BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE (IRS). DURING THE FIRST SIX MONTHS OF 2013 THE IRS DID PROPOSE AN ADJUSTMENT. IN RESPONSE TO THIS ADJUSTMENT THE METALS SERVICE CENTER INSTITUTE HAS SOUGHT A TECHNICAL ADVICE MEMORANDUM ON THE INTERPRATIONS OF THE CODE USED BY THE IRS AGENT.
