AS OF 12/31/12 OUR MEMBERS HAD $471,679,992, ON DEPOSIT IN INSURED ACCOUNTS IN THE CREDIT UNION. THE CREDIT UNION HAS $54,448,621, IN SAVINGS ACCOUNTS, $113,938,921, IN CHECKING ACCOUNTS, $108,173,533, IN MONEY MARKET, AND $189,023,831, IN CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT. THE AVERAGE RATE OF RETURN ON THESE ACCOUNTS AT YEAR END WAS .999%. IRA CERTIFICATE ACCOUNTS EARNED 2.516%. NON-IRA CERTIFICATES EARNED 1.893% AT YEAR END. DEPOSITS IN THE CREDIT UNION INCREASED $39,214,077 OR 8.47% IN 2012. THE CREDIT UNION BEGAN THE YEAR WITH 27,180 INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS AND ENDED THE YEAR WITH 27,204 FOR AN INCREASE OF 24 INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OR .09%.
