| The nonprofit Walsh Research Institute has developed an international program to train doctors in advanced nutrient therapies that may eventually replace psychiatric drugs for treatment of brain disorders. To date, we have trained 125 doctors from the USA, Asia, Europe, and Australia, and we plan to train 1,000 additional doctors within five years. A key development has been publication of Nutrient Power, a new book aimed at (a) increasing interest in natural therapies throughout the medical world and (b) educating the public about the advantages of drug-free treatments. Effective national and international marketing/publicity for this book will be essential to achievement of these objectives. With this proposal, WRI requests a grant of $100,000 to enable professional, high-quality marketing and publicity that will bring worldwide attention to this book and this new medical movement.
