(CBIC) offers voluntary periodic certification exams for all infection control professionals meeting educational and practice requirements. The purpose of the certification process is to protect the public by providing a standardized measurement of current basic knowledge needed for persons practicing infection control, to encourage individual growth and study, thereby promoting professionalism among infection control professionals and to formally recognize infection control professionals who fulfill the requirements for certification. CBIC's certification program is accredited by the national commission for certifying agencies. Delegation of Control FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 3 CBIC contracted with Executive Director, Inc. to perform its daily operations. All major decisions regarding the Organization's mission, goals, and activities are determined by the Board of Directors. |
