Eight pedestrian rest areas will display spectacular tile images of the city's most romantic and significant Spanish Colonial Revival buildings. | Historic resource preservation. Through direct mail, e-mail, magazine & newspaper articles, residents were alerted of pending issues affecting historic structures. We also sponsor and conduct a Candates Forum, enabling the public to gauge the potential city leaders' views and support for historic preservation and its related issues. Keep city representatives aware of issues that could affect historic preservation efforts by attending Planning Commission and City Council meetings and writing letters to our representatives. | Fostered an awareness of our community's unique heritage by continuing to supply all local third graders with a San Clemente history textbook "From Fishcarts to Fiestas." Operated a monthly street fair booth to display and sell historic photos and educate the public about the importance of preserving our historic resources.
