Globo Verde The Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival, through its Award, Globo Verde Dominicano presents the Short Film and Public Service Announcement Competition. DREFF seeks to encourage the production and distribution of films about the environment and sustainable development. Eco Huertos The initiative for the development of school vegetable gardens in education centers in Santo Domingo, arose from the interest sparked among students participating in talks, panels and workshops conducted during the Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival. Recrearet The impetus behind the ReCrearte Program arose from the interest sparked among students who participated in the Recycled Art Workshop conducted II DREFF in 2012.
