WE BELIEVE THAT IN ORDER FOR TREATMENT TO BE SUCCESSFUL, IT MUST BE INDIVIDUALIZED AND ADDRESS MULTIPLE NEEDS. COUNSELORS EMPLOY A VARIETY OF TREATMENT APPROACHES INCLUDING MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING, USE OF THE 12-STEP MODEL, AND COGNITIVE/BEHAVIORAL THERAPY. INVOLVEMENT OF THE FAMILY, AND OTHERS CLOSE TO THE ADDICTED INDIVIDUAL, IS SEEN AS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT FOR TREATMENT SUCCESS. APPROXIMATELY 587 CLIENTS SERVED. MEDICAL SERVICES - HERE AT FOUR COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER, MEDICAL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY A QUALITY TEAM OF PSYCHIATRISTS, ADVANCED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONERS (ARNPS), AND SPECIALIZED NURSES. THEY PROVIDE ONGOING EVALUATIONS AND MEDICATION MANAGEMENT TO PATIENTS. APPROXIMATELY 2,345 CLIENTS SERVED. HOME HEALTH - IMPROVING QUALITY OF HOME CARE TO THE CITIZENS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS. WE PROVIDE SERVICES TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE DESIRE TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES. WE COLLABORATE WITH OTHER RESOURCES IN THE COMMUNITY TO ENSURE THAT THE SUPPORT NEEDED IS MADE AVAILABLE. ALL OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS DESCRIPTION	FORM 990, PAGE 2, PART III, LINE 4D	CRISIS DIVERSION SERVICES - PROVIDES 24-HOUR EMERGENCY ON CALL SYSTEM FOR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCIES. APPROXIMATELY 892 PEOPLE SERVED. ALCOHOL/DRUG SERVICES - ADDICTION TREATMENT SERVICES' PHILOSOPHY AND TREATMENT MODEL RECOGNIZES ADDICTION AS A DISEASE AND FOCUSES ON TREATMENT OF THE ENTIRE PERSON. WE BELIEVE THAT IN ORDER FOR TREATMENT TO BE SUCCESSFUL, IT MUST BE INDIVIDUALIZED AND ADDRESS MULTIPLE NEEDS. COUNSELORS EMPLOY A VARIETY OF TREATMENT APPROACHES INCLUDING MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING, USE OF THE 12-STEP MODEL, AND COGNITIVE/BEHAVIORAL THERAPY. INVOLVEMENT OF THE FAMILY, AND OTHERS CLOSE TO THE ADDICTED INDIVIDUAL, IS SEEN AS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT FOR TREATMENT SUCCESS. APPROXIMATELY 587 CLIENTS SERVED. MEDICAL SERVICES - HERE AT FOUR COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER, MEDICAL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY A QUALITY TEAM OF PSYCHIATRISTS, ADVANCED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONERS (ARNPS), AND SPECIALIZED NURSES. THEY PROVIDE ONGOING EVALUATIONS AND MEDICATION MANAGEMENT TO PATIENTS. APPROXIMATELY 2,345 CLIENTS SERVED. HOME HEALTH - IMPROVING QUALITY OF HOME CARE TO THE CITIZENS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS. WE PROVIDE SERVICES TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE DESIRE TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES. WE COLLABORATE WITH OTHER RESOURCES IN THE COMMUNITY TO ENSURE THAT THE SUPPORT NEEDED IS MADE AVAILABLE.
