The form 990 is reviewed in detail and when available, a final copy of the full form 990 is emailed to all members or the board of directors. The form 990 is then filed with the IRS.
Conflict of interest policyForm 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12CWhen a director first joins the board or a key employee begins employment, he/she is asked to fill out a conflict of interest form and disclose any known possible conflicts in accordance with the requirements of the policy. Any board member or key employee is also required to update their form at any point in which they become aware of a new conflict. Currently these disclosures are turned into the vice president and CFO of the organization and then are reviewed by the audit committee for determination and enforcement.
