ONCE WE MAKE THAT DETERMINATION IN OCTOBER, WE COLLECT ALL OF THE SCHOLARSHIP FORM REQUESTS THAT HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED. ALL OF THOSE NAMES ARE PRESENTED TO THE COMMITTEE FOR SCHOLARSHIPS ON THE FOUNDATION BOARD. WE DO THIS ONCE A YEAR SO THAT WE CAN SPREAD THE MONEY OUT WHERE EVERYONE RECEIVES SOMETHING. ONCE ALL THE MONEY HAS BEEN ALLOCATED, THE AWARDS ARE GIVEN OUT IN DECEMBER FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR. FOR EXAMPLE, IN DECEMBER 2025, WE AWARDED 25 SCHOLARSHIPS FROM FUNDS RECEIVED IN 2025 AND DISTRIBUTED THEM IN JANUARY 2026. RECIPIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE EMPLOYMENT AT CCY AT LEAST ONE YEAR AFTER RECEIVING THEIR SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS IN ORDER TO KEEP THEM; OTHERWISE THEY MUST PAY THESE FUNDS BACK TO CCY.
