Part X:Description of Uncertain Tax Positions Under FIN 48:Schedule D Line 2. RHS, the Hospital, CMG and the Foundation are not-for-profit corporations as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the Code) and are exempt from Federal income taxes on related income pursuant to Section 501(a) of the Code. CPS is a wholly-owned, taxable subsidiary of RHS. RHS is subject to income taxes on profits, if any, from CPS. Effective 2009, FASB Accounting Standards Codification 740 prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for the financial statement recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. RHS's management has evaluated the impact of the standard to its financial statements, but does not anticipate a material effect. RHS is not aware of any material uncertain tax positions and has not accrued the effect of any uncertain tax positions as of March 31, 2010.
