| Primary Exempt Purpose | THE CHILDRENS'S HOME COMMUNITY, INC. (CHC) WAS FORMED IN FLORIDA ON DECEMBER 8, 2003 TO ACT AS THE SOLE MEMBER AND PARENT HOLDING COMPANY OF FOUR SUBSIDIARY CORPORATIONS. THREE OF THESE CORPORATIONS ARE SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS UNDER IRC SECTION 509(A)(3) TO THE CHILDREN'S HOME, INC. (CHI). THEY ARE: THE CHILDREN'S HOME PROPERTIES, INC.; THE CHILDREN'S HOME COMMUNITY BASED CARE, INC.; AND THE CHILDREN'S HOME FOUNDATION, INC. THESE CORPORATIONS WERE FORMED IN FLORIDA ON JANUARY 1, 2004. IN ADDITION, CHC ACTS AS THE SOLE MEMBER AND PARENT HOLDING COMPANY FOR CHI, A PUBLICLY SUPPORTED CORPORATION UNDER IRC SECTION 509(A)(2). CHI AND THE FOUR CORPORATIONS, OF WHICH CHC IS THE SOLE MEMBER, ARE REFERRED TO HEREIN AS THE CHC GROUP.THE OVERALL GOAL OF CHC IS TO ENSURE THE EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE DELIVERY OF FAMILY SERVICES BY THE CHC GROUP.
