ExplanationSchedule I, Part I, Line 2: Utilities and rent assistance is tracked through the State data collection system called OPUS. It shows the available funds and every time that assistance is granted, the balance available decreases. Those expenditures can be balanced to the expenditures made in the accounting system. Expenditure review is done regularly, depending on the program, but at a minimum, monthly through the review of the agency financial statements by the fiscal officer, CFO, Executive Director, Finance Committee, Board of Directors, and Policy Council.Explanation
