| Description | CAMP WING - PROVIDES CAMPING ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDRENThrough the support of the Camp Wing program, our experienced and dedicated staff counsel, nurture, and build supportive relationships through immersive summer camp programs, giving youth valuable life skills and a consistently safe place to turn regardless of their individual situation. Serving over 500 Boston area youth each year, Camp Wing immerses children ages 7-13 in a safe, supportive community. In addition, many of our summer participants are also part of our year-round, multi-year programs such as the Camper Continuity Initiative, Trailblazers, and Apprentice. We work continuously to CAMP WING, CONTINUED:invest in each child's future, fostering their success in school and society. | Description | CAMP LAPHAM - C5 NEW ENGLANDOur five year teen leadership program begins at the end of the 7th grade, and includes two summers at Camp Lapham, one summer on a wilderness trek, a college tour, and a community leadership experience.In addition, our teen leaders complete 30+ hours of community service throughout the year and participate in many workshops and events to develop their leadership potential. The over-riding goal of the C5 program is to change the odds for high-potential youth from risk-filled environments, inspiring them to pursue personal success, and preparing them for leadership roles in college, work and their communities. We encourage C5 youth to be character-driven, community-focused, CAMP LAPHAM--C5 NEW ENGLAND, CONTINUEDchallenge-ready, college-bound, and committed to a better future. 100% of our C5 teens completing the program graduate from High School, and 90%+ go on to college, often the first member in their family to do so. | Description |
