| Description | Actors Theatre of Louisville, founded in 1964 and named in 1974 the State Theatre of Kentucky, is one of the most innovative theatre companies in the nation. The theatres purpose is to bring people together through live theatre to celebrate, challenge and explore the human experience through high quality theatrical productions.
