| Explanation | FIN 48 Note from Audited Financial Statements: The Society was granted an exemption from federal income taxes by the Internal Revenue Service pursuant to the provisions of Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(6). The Foundation is exempt from income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRC. In addition, the Foundation qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under Section 170(b)(1)(A) and has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under Section 509(a)(3).
