Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19Global Banjara Baptist Ministries International makes it financial statements available to the public upon request.
Part III, line 28 (continued):GLOBAL BANJARA BAPTIST MINISTRIES, INDIAANNUAL REPORT 2024 School Project - Aletheia Banjara School: Boarding Facilities: At present, our school houses 62 boarders who are temporarily accommodated in classrooms, sleeping on the floors. The prolonged drought in this region has forced many families to migrate elsewhere in search of livelihood, leaving them with no choice but to enroll their children in boarding schools. Construction of Teachers Quarters: The Teachers Quarters have been completed, and six of our teachers are now comfortably settled into four apartments. This new facility allows our staff to stay close to the school and focus more fully on guiding and supporting our students. Weve also built eight new toilets, greatly improving hygiene and convenience for both students and staff. These achievements have been possible only with the generous support of our donors. Your contributions continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of our teachers and students. From all of us at the school, thank you for standing with us and helping create a better learning environment for our children. Achievements: A team from our school participated in the Mandal-level Kabaddi and Kho-Kho competitions, representing the school with commendable discipline and enthusiasm. Their active involvement reflected the schools commitment to promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students. Two alumni of Aletheia Banjara School successfully completed their bachelors degrees in engineering and have commenced their Masters programs in the United Kingdom. Their academic progress reflects the strong foundational learning and commitment to excellence nurtured by the school. Another former student completed her Masters degree in the United States and secured employment there. Notably, she was the only Indian candidate selected from a pool of 219 applicants, a distinction that demonstrates her exceptional ability and dedication. These achievements highlight the impact of the schools vision to provide quality education and holistic development, enabling students to pursue higher education and global career opportunities. Summer Camps: During the summer of 2024, summer camps were conducted in 17 villages across three states to strengthen rural communities and support the development of children in Banjara villages. A total of 2,756 children participated in the program. The camps provided structured learning experiences that promoted life skills, health awareness, and social interaction. Activities such as storytelling, hygiene workshops, and team challenges encouraged moral reflection, improved personal and community health practices, and fostered collaboration among participants. Key outcomes included improved confidence and teamwork among children, greater awareness of hygiene and first aid, and increased community engagement. The participation of parents, local leaders, and volunteers was instrumental in ensuring the programs success. These initiatives reinforced the organizations commitment to holistic education and rural development. The programs impact demonstrates the effectiveness of community-based approaches in building safe, nurturing environments for children. The organization acknowledges with gratitude the contributions of volunteers, families, and community partners whose efforts led to measurable progress and strengthened the foundation for future initiatives. Youth Camp: The Youth Camp brought together 45 enthusiastic young participants from various Banjara villages. Designed to nurture integrity, respect, and responsibility, the camp offered a blend of education and recreation. Storytelling sessions encouraged reflection on moral values, while health and hygiene workshops taught essential practices for daily life. Games and friendly competitions fostered teamwork and leadership, creating an atmosphere of unity and energy. A career counseling session gave participants their first structured exposure to academic and vocational guidance. For many, this was a defining experience that ignited new aspirations and confidence for the future. Health Awareness Camp: A Health Awareness Camp was held in a remote village, attracting 55 participants of all ages. Health professionals led engaging discussions on sanitation, clean water, and prevention of monsoon-related illnesses such as dengue and malaria. Interactive sessions and open forums allowed villagers to ask questions about hygiene and nutrition. Sewer System Cleaning Initiative: For years, monsoon floods due to a poorly maintained sewer system had affected an entire village. Recognizing the urgency, one volunteer mobilized fifteen young men to address the issue. What began as a small cleanup soon became a community-wide movement.
