| Desc | Since 2000 DALC has protected nearly 6,000 acres of farms, forests, prairies, and wetlands. During 2015 we expanded our community engagement efforts and developed new partnerships with organizations such as Southwest Wisconsin Community Action Program and their Head Start program. We partnered with several other nonprofits to protect land, and to lead landowner and estate planning workshops, field trips, and special educational events. Our land stewardship and property development activities included pollinator planting and improvement of a kiosk on land owned by the Conservancy. We also assisted private landowners in projects to protect land that supports local biological diversity. | Desc |
