| Part X, Line 2: | In accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the Society is exempt from federal and state income taxes on its income and, accordingly, the financial statements do not reflect a provision for income taxes. These determinations have been reviewed according to guidance in a recent Financial Accounting Standards Board pronouncement related to accounting for uncertainty in income taxes.
