Board Review of 990	Part VI, Line 10	The 990 has been compared to the books and records and reconciled by the accounting staff. It is presented to the Finance Committee Chair for his approval and then emailed in electronic format to all Board members, with a request for their comments, prior to the filing.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure	Part VI, Section B, Line 12b, 12c	The Foundation requires all board members, trustees, officers and key management individuals to complete annual disclosure conflicts of interest statements. This statement includes notification of their business interest or investment holdings and, those of their family members, and any other transactions or affiliations with businesses and other organizations including those of family members.
Compensation Selection Process	Part VI, Section B, 15a, 15b	Staff and management pay is evaluated from time to time, but not less than every 18 months, using primarily the Chamber of Commerce wage and salary survey. This survey is far more detailed and extensive than any HRF would possibly conduct on its own. The Chief Executive Officer and the Director of Human Resources review the Chamber's salary survey and sets the base range of pay in the HRF salary plan from appropriate jobs covered in the Chamber survey. The benchmark jobs in the HRF salary plan are the Vice Presidents positions, since these jobs are most closely mirrored in the Chamber survey. All other pay levels are based on the benchmark jobs in accordance with past practice and policy, including the salary schedule for the Chief Executive Officer.
